  • Applicator tool (often included with the transfer)
  • Scissors (for trimming)
  • Tape (optional, for positioning)
  • Sealer (like polyurethane, wax, or topcoat)

Steps to Apply Transfers:

  1. Choose Your Transfer and Plan Placement
    Select a transfer design that complements your furniture. Plan where to place the transfer for the best visual effect. If needed, cut the transfer into smaller sections for custom arrangements.

  2. Prepare the Furniture Surface
    Ensure the furniture surface is clean, dry, and smooth. If the furniture has a finish, lightly sand it to create a slightly rough surface for better adhesion. Wipe away dust with a damp cloth and let it dry completely.

  3. Position the Transfer
    Remove the backing paper and position the sticky side of the transfer on the furniture. Use tape to hold it in place if needed. Ensure it's aligned correctly before starting the application.

  4. Rub the Transfer Onto the Surface
    Use the applicator tool to rub firmly over the transfer. Start from one side and work your way across to avoid air bubbles. Apply consistent pressure to ensure the transfer adheres evenly.
